Sans Soliel (1983)

In this film it told one story but the locations  between Africa and Japan. The film was very interesting since it was based on culture and individuals going about their every day lives but as the film went on in some ways were very confusing and different then any other documentary type films that I have watched. I understand in some ways where the director wanted the audience to see and understand but the film was just one way it had a specific story then the locations and scenes changed quickly; not allowing the audience to sit there and get use to just Japan and the culture, fashion and religion. During the film when the director  is located in Africa he shows less clips but allows the story to continue to Japan vice versa. Sans Soliel was very interesting but difficult to interpret. This film is also very educational and if I watch this film for a second time then maybe I will gain a much better view about this film.
